A: Whenever you are sure you will fly to the UK. The sim plan will not get activated and you won’t get charged till the time you land and activate the sim.

A: Most users use calling over the internet to talk to family back home but it can come in handy at times when you have to talk to customer care of your bank or airline etc. Even if you don’t have free calling, you can get cheap India calling from most SIMs we offer.
A: It depends on which sim you buy, you might have to pay the first month’s plan to order it along with the delivery charges. You still save loads of money on international roaming and the hassle to find a SIM once you are in the UK.
A: You can still keep your number but port to a new provider easily. You can check how to do that here. It's still better to have number setup before you land in the UK for other things like Bank ac etc.
